We pulled up our driveway at on Monday night. While unpacking the car, I somehow was coherent (barely) enough to notice some migrants were calling overhead as a light northwest wind was building in behind a cold front. Unfortunately, after 23 hours of traveling, there was no chance that I was going to make sunrise at Sandy Point. My guess is that it was a good flight. And, I was not disappointed. Birds were most definitely on the move overnight (confirmed later by radar), and moderate northwesterly winds were still blowing come sunrise ( ).
