These Pit Bull dogs are a serious problem in our society today. Many of the people who choose to get these dogs are irresponsible thugs who think that the breed of dog will make them tuff, the others who choose to get the dogs are clueless as to the demeanor of these beasts. I am a dog lover and I do agree that the owner of these dogs should be held accountable, but I would never turn my back on a Pit Bull because they are unpredictable and dangerous. I personally think this breed should be illegal within any city limits. Think about it, sadly there are just as many dogs (of other breeds) who are just as mistreated by their owners. You dont hear about these dogs killing horses, people, and other dogs. thats because the Pit Bull breed is extremely dangeours. Outlaw them City of Enid or make their owners liable for heavy www.enidnews.com

A core course designed to teach Christians how to emulate the unconditional love of a faithful dog. What a great feeling to come in from a lousy day to the quivering adulation of our adopted Labrador/God only knows what else dog named Hannah. If we could even approach that level of unconditional love as followers of Christ we couldnt find enough seats in our sanctuaries for the crowds. Syllabus quote: No matter what you have done a friendly dog will approach you with joy and trust. A dog does not keep score of good deeds versus bad. We give dogs time we can spare, space we can spare and love we can spare. And in return, dogs give us their all. Its the best deal man has ever made. (M. Acklam) www.crosswalk.com
There are few things more pathetic than a middle-aged Dad trying to be hip. I usually do it to fulfill my contractual obligation to embarrass my sons. But I could not resist the title for this piece. For those not as hip as me (both of you), dog is used to address a good friend of the human variety. However, this article features the old school usage for dogas in canine.

There are many who share Taraskinas concerns, "unfortunately the system of helping the shelters and the culture of cooperation with the shelters do not exist here" she says. Animal charities are active and Taraskina would encourage more people to donate to them. Proposed government plans to restrict and regulate dog ownership are challenged with threatening the dog breeding industry. This would be no great loss to Taraskina, who is scathing about the modish vagaries of the industry: "Putin has a Labrador, so everyone wants a Labrador. When another President comes along he owns another breed and everyone wants that one - then the Labradors are out on the street. " The problem of abandonment does continue, but its legacy is already all around us. mnweekly.ru
Levis family loved the red leash but the blue became moms favourite. As Kelly enthused, "from its silky feel, easy clasp, nice handle, clip for hanging, it was easy to hold even with a strong, untrained, Labrador puppy. Because I hold it in several places along its length, depending on how tightly Im holding/controlling the dog, a silky feel is wonderfully comfortable. And it wasnt chewed or frayed in the short time we used it. " Other families didnt find the leash exceptional but did like the smooth feel and bright colour that makes it easy to find and the heavy-duty clasp. The leash doesnt come cheap but with the unconditional warranty, its worth the expense. www.thestar.com

Cesar Millans approach is to focus not on changing the dog, but on changing the owners thoughts, approach and habits in interacting with the dog. He recommends that, rather than treating the dog as we would a human, we should treat the dog as a dog. Instead of wondering why the dog sometimes does not behave, we should bear in mind that a dog is an animal first, then a dog, next a member of a particular breed and, finally, a dog with a name. www.townhall.com
James, a 12-year veteran of the media Internet world who spent several years with AOL, adopted Zoe-a black Labrador retriever rescued from an abusive home. Zoe was very skittish around people, and especially, other dogs. Preparing for a business trip, James was concerned about how well Zoe would do bordered at a kennel. A friend recommended Happy Tails-now Dogtopia-and when James returned from her trip, Zoe was a changed canine. A typical day at Dogtopia, James said, begins with a few hours of staff-supervised play time, with dogs divided into different rooms based on their size and play style. The toy box room is for smaller dogs, while the gym is designed for bigger dogs who like to be more active. The lounge room is reserved for more mellow dogs. All rooms, James said, are equipped with rubberized flooring, which is better for a dogs paws. www.leesburg2day.com
