2008-05-27 Ted Nugent: Letter of thanks to great son

So, as you wrap up the wild adventures of high school and prepare to charge out into this wild, crazy world on your own, know that the important things in life are still God, family, country, honesty and honor.

It has been quite the journey since that hot summer day , when I had to leave your mother in labor to go rock out in Altoona, Pa. , while you struggled to erupt into this world.

Things are cool, but all one has to do is meet my children to see that of which I am most proud. Nothing else compares.

2008-04-08 Where Tiger fans are watching the national championship game : Tigers : Commercial Appeal

I will watch the game alone, because I will be too obnoxious to tolerate. I will pace up and down in my living room and cuss the TV set. I get really nervous and superstitious. I will become like Monk (OCD) touching thanks certain amounts of times for luck. I will be yelling so loudly, I have to lock up my dogs in their kennels. I will get angry when people call my cell phone during the game. I get furious when the commentators talk poorly about the Tigers. After the game, my adrenaline will still be pumping, and I wont be able to sleep. I feel so sore and fatigued afterwards, it will be as if i actually played in the game. It aint pretty, but it has gotten us this far. I have waited 35 years for this ,as I was 8 years old in 1973. I realize this may be my last chance to see this at 43 years old, if it takes another

2008-01-26 Panel meets this week to discuss changes to Pa. dog law The Pocono Record

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (AP) A board appointed by Gov. Ed Rendell meets this week to discuss reforming the states antiquated dog law to try to crack down on puppy mills and dirty kennels.

Advisory board member Marsha Perelman said much of the feedback she has received on the changes has been enormously positive, but said the proposals still need work, particularly the language outlining kennels physical design.

The dog law covers the licensing of nearly 1 million dogs statewide, around 2,600 kennels, and the handling of strays and dangerous dogs. The regulations spell out how government employees will enforce the law.
