Owners and their pets were allowed to walk the trails at their leisure between 8:30 a. m. and 12:30 p. m. The event included dog contests, demonstrations and different organizations and vendors. There was no registration fee, but participants were encouraged to collect pledges to benefit the Dumb Friends League Buddy Center in Castle Rock.

Residents and their dogs enjoyed a sunny morning for the fourth annual Wag n Trail on Sept. 20. The 1. 6 mile hike was held at Glendale Farm Open Space, located at Interstate 25 and Surrey Ridge.
