I hope the sick bastard that poisoned these dogs is found and prosecuted. If a dog does its business in someones yard or in the yard of a complex and doesnt get cleaned up, its not the dogs fault,.
RE: Does anyone know what a puppy mill is Of course the puppies have heath problems, THEY COME FROM PUPPY MILLS..
I agree Sarah, and I also agree with g. The dogs should be propelry looked after, with the current state of Russias economical crisis, and the fact that a lot of people live in povery in Russia,.
When Weaver went to the house, he said he saw the puppies, and he saw vehicles in the driveway, but no one came to the door when he knocked. When he walked back to his truck, two of the puppies followed him, so he picked them up. He went back to see about the third one and found it trying to get up the driveway, but it couldnt walk, he said. He had to carry the puppy to the truck.
2008-07-09 Puppy killer will do time in prison-Salt Lake Tribune
A Weber County man who abandoned 14 puppies - all but one of which died - in a trash bin behind a Riverdale store in December was sentenced Monday to a year in jail for each puppy that died, and six months for the survivor. But Michael Ray Howard, who also was sentenced for felony possession of methamphetamine, will serve a maximum of five years behind bars. Howard will serve his time in prison, not jail, because 2nd District Judge Roger Dutson ordered the misdemeanor animal cruelty counts to run concurrent to each other, and concurrent to the zero-to-five-year drug conviction. The owner of the surviving dog, which has been named Precious, had asked the judge for justice for all 14 puppies, according to prosecutor Branden Miles. Defense attorney Daniel Drage argued in favor of jail time and probation, rather than prison,

Johns final thoughts: Puppies are a gamble. No one can predict which puppies from a given litter will and wont be successful. Whats more, five different people would get five different results from the same puppy. You get out of a dog what you put into it.

I agree Sarah, and I also agree with g. The dogs should be propelry looked after, with the current state of Russias economical crisis, and the fact that a lot of people live in povery in Russia, you have to ask yourself should people be allowed to breed and keep pets/dogs etc, surely this is animal neglect if you cant afford to look after them. And yes the sending the to China for food comment is nothing short of retarded, your clearly not an animal lover otherwise you wouldnt have suggested this in the first place. Have you seen footage on how they are kept in China.
With an estimated 100,000 feral dogs in Moscow, you are more likely to get attacked by a stray than a criminal in the Russian capital. - Moscow Crackdown On 100 000 Stray Dogs After Savage Attacks

I hope the sick bastard that poisoned these dogs is found and prosecuted. If a dog does its business in someones yard or in the yard of a complex and doesnt get cleaned up, its not the dogs fault, its the lazy, inconsiderate owner. Confront the owner not the animal regardless of the problem, barking, running loose, dumping in someones yard, etc. its a dog. Ive been a dog owner for 35 years and take care of my dogs. I detest animal owners that dont take care of them. Take the responsibility or get rid of them but dont blame the animal, its just doing what the human allows it to get away with. Or maybe those that take revenge on the animals are just plain spineless and cant confront a human.

RE: Does anyone know what a puppy mill is Of course the puppies have heath problems, THEY COME FROM PUPPY MILLS. Puppy mills sell to pet stores, we can stop this horrible treatment if we boycott all pet stores that sell puppies. If a pet store is telling you different they are lying, no reputable who cares about there puppes would sell to a pet store. I urge you to look up puppy mills and tell people about them. Its terrible what people can do to helpless animals. If you want a pure breed puppy you can find rescues or a reputable breeder, the harder it is for you to get a puppy from a breeder the better the breeder is, the healthier the puppy is. When you buy a puppy mill puppy you are asking for tons of health problems. Please educate your self on this topic. The parents of these pet shop puppies need our help.

2008-07-01 Carrie Quinlan: Thank God for animal stories Comment is free
What a brilliant time it is for animal adoption. Not that theres ever a bad time for animal adoption. Call me sentimental, and youd be right to I did once cry at the Abraham Lincoln speech at the end of Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure but Ive been been rather blubby (blubbery surely not) over stories about tiger cubs and elderly dogs and such. Im too young for the menopause, and I didnt drop anything on my foot while reading them, so they must just be terribly moving.
