LANCASTER, CA - Last Chance for Animals (LCA) witnessed over 60 World Kennels puppies being released to county shelters yesterday and today. The LCA investigation into Southern California puppy mills reported by KCAL/KCBS reporter David Goldstein, resulted in a re-inspection of World Kennels by the county animal control. 402 dogs were found -- three hundred over the limit -- living outside in kennels and inside wire mesh. World Kennels was ordered to reduce the number of animals to 100 or else be shutdown. Over 60 of their purebred puppies have already been surrendered with many more to come. LCA and Best Friends Animal Society are currently assisting in the rescue of these puppies and accepting donations for the cost of medical bills for these dogs. www.earthtimes.org

Fellas, yall gotta understand that when she does that, this fat mans chest sticks out like a proud papa. Princess is one of two original dogs/Puppies I bought back when I got back into rabbit hunting/beagling. I trained her and remember when she opened on her first rabbit. She will be with me until she passed to the great rabbit running paradise in the sky. We had 6 guns and finished up around 3pm with 46 rabbits. We missed about the same amount. My hunting crew was TERRIBLE SHOTS TODAY. There was one time where I thought about taking their guns from them. LOL I have to admit, my shooting performance wasnt that great either though. If a dog does its business in someones yard or in the yard of a complex and doesnt get cleaned up, its not the dogs fault, its the lazy, inconsiderate owner. Confront the owner not the animal regardless of the problem, barking, running loose, dumping in someones yard, etc. its a dog. Ive been a dog owner for 35 years and take care of my dogs. I detest animal owners that dont take care of them. Take the responsibility or get rid of them but dont blame the animal, its just doing what the human allows it to get away with. If a pet store is telling you different they are lying, no reputable who cares about there puppes would sell to a pet store. I urge you to look up puppy mills and tell people about them. Its terrible what people can do to helpless animals. If you want a pure breed puppy you can find rescues or a reputable breeder, the harder it is for you to get a puppy from a breeder the better the breeder is, the healthier the puppy is.
