First of all, understand that the penis gets hard because more blood flows there during arousal. Dogs and walruses have bones in their penises, but men are designed a little differently and depend on healthy blood flow. That and rsquo;s also why smoking eventually can kill erections since it causes the arteries in the body to harden. In fact, erectile problems are sometimes a warning sign that a man has heart or circulation problems and he should see his doctor. Men who take blood pressure medicine also sometimes can and rsquo;t get it up anymore, since less blood is flowing to the penis. Instead of stopping their medicine, these men should talk to their health care provider, who can prescribe a different medication.

2007-09-28 Mental health system needs infusion of common sense

When changes are retroactive, providers must go back and change paperwork. Paperwork plagues therapists, who can bill usd. 90 an hour for time spent with the patient, but must spend two hours or more completing paperwork, time for which they cannot bill. In fact, what appears to be excessive paperwork dogs the system from the minute a patient enrolls. Victor Clark, a therapist with Parkway Behavioral Health Services in Asheville, told a Citizen-Times reporter that he has to process 18 pages of forms to get one person into the system.

For anyone suffering from this illness or other conditions that conventional antibiotics struggle to combat look up "(bold)Allimax(/bold) " online. Allimax contains allicin, from garlic and has been shown in clinical trials to beat MRSA (British Journal of Biomedical Science 2004 61(2)). Allimax is antibiotic, antiviral, antifungal and antiparasitic. I have been very ill for over two years and using Allimax for the last 6 months has significantly improved my health. I continue to improve. It is believed that Allimax will be beneficial in many conditions and can also be taken 1-a-day as a preventative dose which reduces the chance of catching colds and flus. It amazes me that the Allimax company does not do more to promote knowledge of its product.

2007-09-08 Lunch with Louis Heuser, M. D

I got involved with that. Im not a libertarian, but I do think people ought to have a choice. My only want is this: If youre going to have a vending machine, at least have a healthy choice in that vending machine. Dont make everything unhealthy. Dont make everything fat and sugar. Give the child an opportunity to make a healthy choice. Then its up to me to explain to the child why its important to make that choice -- why one is better than the other -- and thats a matter of education.

2007-09-11 Infoshop News - Kentucky Fried Chicken: I Dont Think So

We are asking KFC to honor their moral responsibility to their customers by insuring that KFC suppliers respect U. S. workers fighting to provide a decent living for their families," said Gegare. "We will continue to alert KFC customers to both KFCs health violations and its failure to address NFFCs mistreatment of American workers until these problems are fixed. "

Teamsters and student activists will rally today at Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) restaurants across the country to demand that a key KFC supplier respect the rights of its workers and to urge that the supplier reverse disastrous cuts in health care and retirement benefits, including the elimination of health care benefits for its retirees.

2007-09-26 Capitol Hill Watch Bush Using SCHIP Reauthorization Debate To Push Tax Revisions, Grassley Says

Grassley said that Bushs desire to pass the tax revisions is commendable but that the revisions can no longer feasibly be linked to SCHIP. Grassley, speaking of a conversation with Bush on Thursday, said that Bush "has a goal that I share, that we need to take care of the uninsured through private health insurance," but "you cant put that on this bill. " Grassley said he was surprised to hear Bush discuss larger health care issues during the conversation because Grassley had discussed linking an SCHIP extension with larger health care reform in the spring with

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) on Monday said that President Bush is threatening to veto the SCHIP compromise bill in order to force revisions to the tax code that would provide deductions to individuals who purchase private insurance, the Washington Post reports. Grassley said -- and White House aides agreed -- that Bushs opposition to SCHIP does not result from the cost of the bill but rather

We are reminded dietary restrictions due to religious reasons or disease (eg. Celiac) are acceptable. People with life threatening allergies to peanuts get support by having no nut lunch policies, labels for nut-free facilities, and warnings about what may contain nuts. On the other hand, diets based on healthy choice can be met with impatience, considered inconvenient and even offensive. The educated dietary choice for health should not be received with indignation. It should be met with curiosity and respect to let others do what is right for them.

On Monday, the county joined forces with Evergreen, Sea Mar and Behavioral Health Resources to send a letter to all of Evergreens clients and some of their family members. The letter stressed that the goal would be to ensure that all necessary mental health services will be provided to eligible consumers without interruption.

Maryann Welch, the director of the countys Public Health and Social Services Department, says the county is doing what it can to transition services as smoothly as possible to Behavioral Health Resources and Sea Mar. Everybody involved wants continuity of care, she said.
