EL PASO -- The two dogs believed to have sneaked through a fence into the El Paso Zoo last week before killing a pronghorn antelope and a sandhill crane were euthanized Wednesday night, city officials said.
The two dogs were euthanized despite claims by local advocates that Animal Control officials had not proved that the dogs were responsible for the attack.
The dogs did not have the temperament to be considered for adoption, officials had said.
