Even if there is a dog is the kennel that has kennel cough(that yes can be treated) then there is nothing stopping it from getting parvo which is airborne, or distemper. As of right now it is not safe for any animals, people, or people that work there. They have animals too, all you have to do is touch the dog, the bowl something the dog has came in contact with and not sanitize correctly and they can bring that disease home to their pets. I volunteered at PAWS last week b/c of the story on Chicagoist and got to walk and interact with several of the Iowa and Quincy dogs. So many sweethearts in all ages, shapes and sizes. Great temperments.
