2007-08-07 Dog Mauls Tots Face (from Thisisdorset)

Some of the above comments have valid points, others are utter rubbish. At the end of the day EVERY SINGLE DOG not matter what the breed has the potential to attack anybody, whether is be a grown up, another do or a child as in this case. Owners ARE responsible for the dogs actions and unfortunately there are several people in this world that do not keep their dogs under proper control. Even if a dog is the most placid animal in the world it still has the potential to attack. Dogs with children on the whole are fine, but you never know. Children make lots of noise and run around and some dogs are fine with this and others arent. But either of them could attack as it only takes a second. I have grown up with dogs all my life and never had any problems with them - thats because my parents acted responsible with the dogs and how

Common Council should vote to charge fees for the new dog park. Just how much the fees should be is up to the city, and we are not advocating that the city balance its budget on the backs of dog owners. But once someone signs up for a dog park permit, they should also show proof of the animals registration. Those registration fees are peanuts in the grand scheme of taxation, but usd. 7. 50 for a spayed or neutered dog or usd. 15. 50 for a dog that is not spayed or neutered is still a requirement for dog ownership under state law, and the city should pursue every penny in revenue it can. At last count, the city had about 700 dogs registered, though they know there are many more out there. All of these smaller fees will help offset costs and hopefully generate profits for the city and allow for dog owners to enjoy a permanent, off-leash dog

2007-09-13 Western Command turns 60

However, the most interesting and exciting events were kept for the latter part of the evening. The Dog Show showcased the intelligence and training of military dogs. Whether it was crossing the Burma Bridge or jumping through fire, the team of Bahadur, Sultan, Bond, Hari, Bhagwan and Gangu (all labradors) did it with lan and finesse. The Lotus Flower display in which six dogs came together to form a lotus flower earned the most applause. The show also highlighted the importance and role dogs plays in our defence duties. Tracker dogs, guard dogs, infantry patrol dogs, mine detection dogs, search and rescue dogs and avalanche rescue dogs are the kind of dogs that assist our men in their work.

2007-04-17 CRAVEONLINE: Reality Bites: Dog The Bounty Hunter / film and tv review

Recently Dog and his family came under fire due to an arrest they made while in Mexico (where bounty hunting is deemed illegal) and faced extradition charges. The case has not been settled as of yet, but the show must go on. The first episode I got a chance to watch (episode 74) caught up with the group as they went on their first case since the extradition incident. The cast splits their time between going into action, and giving the camera man an update on what and rsquo;s going on. Each family member gets an opportunity to weigh in on what and rsquo;s happening. This time around the family is trying to get back into the swing of things after being under house arrest. They hunt down a bail jumper who is trying to kick the habit, but not having much luck. After a lengthy search they finally catch their man. The show has a flare for the

And no. 160; and no. 160;Bonnaroo was amazing. 1We had so much fun. We saw some amazing shows and were honored to share a stage with the Yard Dogs Road Show. We had one or two scheduled shows a day and at least one impromptu parade each evening. It was so amazing to be around so many different artists: fire artists, stilt walkers, whip artists, visual artists, dancers, musiciansthe list goes on and on. 1While I loved the stage shows, the parades were my favorite part. I had so much fun marching through a sea of folks dressed for a festival, with us in sequins, rhinestones, beads, fringe, and wigs and the band in costumes. The looks of awe and surprise were priceless. Having artist passes allowed us many amenities, but the highlight was meeting Jim Jarmusch and having a photo session with him.

2007-10-28 Scotland on Sunday - Opinion - The descent of Halles comet

The only blight on her current happiness is her gaffe on The Tonight Show, but despite a flurry of negative publicity, the comment - a misconceived joke rather than a symptom of deep-seated anti-semitism - is unlikely to dog her career for long. Despite her occasional defensiveness, she has a self-deprecating sense of humour which will stand her in good stead for the criticism she now faces. She accepted a Razzie - the anti-Oscars for the worst movie performances of the year - for her lead role in Catwoman in person in 2005, saying that "to be at the top, you must experience rock bottom". And last week, she demonstrated her ability to bounce back, turning up at the London premiere of Things We Lost In The Fire, dressed in a blue dress that showed off her voluptuous figure to its best. With the movie garnering the best reviews she

2007-08-22 Michael Vick: Cant Run from the Law

Erik Kuselias brought up a very interesting point on his radio show. He said that the new way that Vick supporters are spinning the guilty plea is that Michael Vick is a good person that made a mistake. His argument was that saying this is just a mistake is a bit absurd. A mistake, Erik claimed, is ordering sushi that is a day old, because it is half priced. A mistake is thinking that your sister-in-law is your wife, and pinching her butt from behind at a party. Building a dog pen for dogs to fight in is not a mistake. Organizing your own dog fighting ring is not a mistake. Executing dogs is not a mistake. This incident shows a character flaw and a series of decisions that are unexplainable. While he can say he is sorry, it doesnt undo the damage he has done.
