Gunny was the subject of an Observer story in June, documenting his adoption and recovery from injuries. He had a leg amputated and other surgery. LOUIS -- Plans are in the works for an 84,000-square-foot indoor Canine Event Center near St. Louis that would host dog shows and obedience and agility trials. Purina Farms has hosted several outdoor dog shows. Purina Pet Food North America president Terence Block says the amenities of the indoor center and the central U. S. location will provide elements that attract shows and trials.
