A suburban Pittsburgh couple is suing a private adoption agency, claiming they lost an adoptive child at the last minute because the agency lied to the babys natural parents.

In the lawsuit, the prospective parents claim that Private Adoption Service Inc. told the babys natural parents that the adopting mother, Kathy Kravas, had four felony convictions on her record.

They are suing the Cincinnati-based adoption agency, its executive director Carolyn Mussio and her daughter, Terri Mussio, who is a social worker with the service.
